New Delhi [India], March 31: Eid became even more special for children from underprivileged communities in Mumbai’s slums as Hemkunt Foundation brought festive joy to their doorstep. The celebration was filled with warmth, laughter, and shared meals, as volunteers distributed food, sweets, and gifts, ensuring that every child could experience the spirit of the festival.

Harteerath Singh, Director of Hemkunt Foundation, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering harmony and togetherness. Speaking about the event, he shared, “I believe in unity among all religions and celebrating every occasion with the same love and devotion. Our sewa is not limited to any one community; it is for humanity. Through initiatives like these, we aim to spread kindness and ensure that every child, irrespective of their background, feels included and valued.”

The celebration saw participation from volunteers across different faiths, symbolizing Hemkunt Foundation’s commitment to service beyond boundaries. As the children enjoyed their festive treats and heartfelt celebrations, the event stood as a testament to the Foundation’s core values—compassion, inclusivity, and unity.
