New Delhi, November 20: A massive rise in air pollution levels has led to New Delhi’s air pollution levels reaching hazardous new heights. Basant Goel, the owner of Goel Medicos, is carrying forth the legacy of social work by distributing masks to under-served people. The main aim is to protect and safeguard the citizens from breathing in a dangerous amount of polluted air. Additionally, it is crucial not just to preserve but also to educate. It is why they’ve also carried drives to help educate the citizens on the importance of masks during this hour of need. These masks are what will protect people from breathing in low-quality air.

This movement was initiated on November 15, 2021, and since then, the company has distributed roughly 350 masks. In the four days of its operation, the masks have been distributed to rickshaw drivers, street vendors, and so on.

Mr. Basant Goel said, “With winters fast approaching, and as the air turns colder, the air quality goes from bad to worse in Delhi and its adjoining areas. During these trying times, I try to help out those in need and protect them from the toxins in the air, with small initiatives every year. I hope this is their window to education and helps prevent them from breathing in dangerous air. Hence, as a responsible citizen of India, I try to help the under-served people with such initiatives.”
