Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 25: The prestigious IPS Academy witnessed the book launch event of renowned architect Surendra Bahga’s latest work, titled “Form Follows Roots.†The book delves into residential projects designed for lower and middle-income groups, providing a comprehensive study in the field.
The launch ceremony was graced by Architect Shri Achal Chaudhary, President of IPS Academy, and Dr. Manita Saxena, Principal. Surendra Bahga, a well-known name in the architectural world, is celebrated for his contribution to the field. This book, spanning the architectural developments in India from 1985 to 2021, presents a detailed analysis of contemporary architectural practices. Bahga’s significant contributions to the field were recognized in 1995 when he was honored with the prestigious Sir M. Visvesvaraya Award by HUDCO. The event also witnessed the planting of trees within the college premises, underscoring the importance of environmental conservation, a cause Bahga ardently supports.
