Mumbai: In 2015, Charcoal Eats started operations in Mumbai. With just six popular Biryanis on the menu, their bold flavours and freshness slowly began to waft across the metropolis. Today, in 2021, we are a Pan-Mumbai Biryani giant with a presence in Pune & Jammu – a total of 31 outlets.

There are Biryani options galore, all across the city. So how do you tell one apart from the other? What separates a good biryani from a better one? It quintessentially comes down to just one thing.

When a Biryani is made in best-in-class, modern, hygienic kitchens with fresh ingredients, using no preservatives or colours, it’s safe enough for your children to eat. This unique differentiator guides us when we make healthy food, taste delicious. And with our obsession for quality and consistency, we promise you’ll want to ‘Bite that good’ every time.

But that’s not all there is to it. That’s just the beginning. When you’re one of Mumbai’s largest Biryani companies, the finer nuances also come into play and can make all the difference. To keep the sanctity of the dishes we make, we cook vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals separately and in exclusive vessels.

While delivering great food, we remain conscious of our responsibility towards the environment. Therefore, we source our ingredients in an environmentally sustainable manner and are working towards plastic-free packaging.

Our customer feedback mechanism and technology-aided systems help us constantly innovate and improve our offerings.

Customers love choice, and when they give us so much love, we have to keep our menu a blend of classic, exciting and delicious always. Whether you’re a hard-core meat-lover or then belong to the small (but growing) club of Vegetarian Biryani fans, we’ll always have your favourites and more. And the extensive menu makes it easy to add a spark of difference to your regular favourites, changing the experience every time.

Take your pick from the Kebabs you love to have. Or dig into your skewered Seekhs. Available in vegetarian and non-vegetarian, these are a befitting addition to your Biryani Dinners, Cocktail parties and even spontaneous get-togethers. If you’ve got Vegans in the house, we’ve got them covered with our Kathal Jackfruit Biryani or Aloo Baby Corn. If you’re fasting for Shravan and craving some good stuff, we’ve got serious options. Highly recommended are the Spicy Paneer Biryani (infused with Nagin Sauce) and the Veg. Starter Platter.

But if you’re none of the above and love your meat, our Dum Baked Biryanis will delight you endlessly. This unique preparation perfected by Charcoal Eats involves smoking and steaming the Biryanis to absolute perfection. It cooks the protein content thoroughly, infuses all the flavours into the rice and comes together incredibly well.

Whatever your preference across the band of spice, we’ve got something that’s perfect for you. Starting from the mildly spiced Afghani Chicken Biryani to the robust punch of the Awadhi Mutton, there’s a feast you can’t wait to begin having in every dish. Our Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani is one of the bestsellers you can’t miss. Chicken Tikka Biryani being the runner up.

And when it’s all done, it’s time for just a bit of fun. Our Vilayati Chocolate Mousse, Gulab Jamun and Malai Phirni will all leave you confused on which the best of the pick is. All our desserts are bite-sized and vegetarian, so if Shravan’s got you confused, this would clear it for sure!
