Pune, December 25: Farzana Kharadi from Surat made our city shine by bagging the title of Femina Mrs. Stylista India 2022. She is the reigning style queen for the coming year 2022. Over 62 years, Femina has been the definitive life and lifestyle guide for the progressive Indian woman, leading the charge to help women evolve to be their best selves, inspire other women, and be unstoppable. Style is an inherent part of the Femina woman, and Femina Mrs Stylista recognises women who showcase themselves in the chicest way possible.
Out of 100’s of entries from all across the country, a few deserving ladies were shortlisted. After passing through initial rounds, the top 14 were selected nationwide. Participants came from Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Boston & Surat. These 14 participants had to undergo vigorous training & grooming session on 18th & 19th December. Each participant was secretly judged for the sub- contest rounds by experts from various fields & arenas. From day one, Farzana was the shining performer stealing everybody’s hearts & creating a substantial impact on judge’s minds. It was a test of beauty inner as well as outer, the grace & style, smartness & composure, wits & intelligence!!
The star-studded evening of glitz and glamour was held on December 20, 2021, Â at The O Hotel, Pune, where fashion, style, beauty and talent reigned. Femina Mrs Stylista 2022, presented by Sheetal Creations by Sheetal Biyani and powered by the Priyadarshini Group of Schools, showcased 14 women who prove that age is just a number. The finalists stood out for their inherent sense of style, never-give-up attitude, and vivacious personalities as they vied for the prestigious title.
The event was presided over by an esteemed jury comprising designer and entrepreneur Sheetal Biyani of Sheetal Creations, actors Zarine Khan, Minissha Lamba and Amruta Khanvilkar, Rajendra Indraman Singh – CEO of Priyadarshani Group of Schools, and Femina Managing Editor Primrose Monteiro-D’Souza.
The red carpet was also graced by Rajasa by Neha and Ankush; Hrridaysh Deshpande, Vice-Chancellor of Ajeenkya DY Patil University; Dr Harjot Kaur, owner and founder of the Inspiration Clinic; Saurav Chatterjee of Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital; Dr Ruchira Khanna and Dr Ankit Khanna of Dr Khanna’s Complete Gum and Dental Care Center and Health Chakra; Arti Rai and Vivekk Pawar of Vivz Fashion School; fashionista and active philanthropist Pooja Borele; entrepreneur and hotelier Pratik Shinde, Actor and theatre artist Smantha Sirohi, Founder of Smile foundation Divya Chauhan, Rupali Chakankar NCP President
The evening kicked off with the sari round. The contestants walked the ramp in six and nine yards of elegance – creations from Rajasa by Neha and Ankush – with impeccable grace and poise before introducing themselves to the jury and guests. While the scores were calculated, the audience was treated to a power-packed performance by indie artist Avanie Joshi, who sang international hits and her compositions.
The Indo-Western round was next, in which the stunning contestants showed off their curated ensembles to thunderous applause. Next came an exceptional performance by one of India’s finest mentalists, Kunal Newar, who enthralled the audience with his spellbinding act. The evening then progressed to the third round in which contestants walked the ramp in gorgeous evening gowns from Sheetal Creations by Sheetal Biyani with confidence, poise and style.
The top eight finalists were announced, and winners of the sub-contests were felicitated. Farzana clearly stole the show by winning the maximum sub contest rounds. She won the titles of

The finalists then went through the question and answer round, where the jury asked each a question. While the judges deliberated the scores, the emcee turned the tables on them with a round of fun questions. Then, it was time for the big reveal. Shubhangi Gole was the second runner-up of Sheetal Creations Femina Mrs Stylista 2022, Meetali Dhoot walked away with the first runner-up title, and Farzana Kharadi was named Femina Mrs Stylista 2022!
From the diamond city of Surat, Mrs Farzana Kharadi is a fitness trainer by profession and a fashion designer and dancer by passion. A black belt in the Japanese sword art of Kenjutsu, she empowers women by teaching them self-defence skills. She loves motivating people by encouraging them to follow a healthy lifestyle.
