Surat, September 25, 2024: As the Dumas Art Project enters its second week, visitors are welcome to join the diverse artistic and cultural offerings before the festival concludes. This weekend features a captivating lineup of activities, including a panel discussion on the Role of Art in Urban Transformation. The discussion will explore how art can reshape urban spaces, with insights from distinguished artists and experts.
A special highlight this weekend is an Art Therapy session led by prodigy artists from the Moksha Foundation. This unique experience will demonstrate the power of expressing emotions through art.
Visitors can also participate in various workshops and explore the ongoing exhibition based on UNESCO’s publication “A Braided River: The Universe of Indian Women in Science. Additionally, they can view the Gujarat in Focus photography exhibit and Kadambari Mishra’s Iconic Women Project. On 2nd October, the Young Artists Program, a drawing competition for children will take center stage, providing a platform for aspiring young talents. Rounding off the festival’s final week are a Paper Mache Art workshop on 3rd October and a Block Printing workshop on 4th October, giving visitors the opportunity to explore both traditional and contemporary craft techniques.
