She attributes a significant part of her success to her mentor and director, Gopal Gurjar, who also gave her the name “Rangili†before her forename. Recalling one of the incidents, she says that during a show in Ajmer, she met her mentor, and that’s how she got the opportunity to work on the album “Banni Mhari Nachani Hoti.â€
Rani Rangili also excels as a songwriter who loves portraying her dancing and acting skills in each of her songs. Another album, “Naag Lapeta,†gave her immense popularity in Southern India and even overseas. Each devotional song from her “Leelan Singare†album has become a massive rage in weddings. Recently, she also worked with Bollywood singer Kumar Sanu on the album “Diye Jale,†which has motivated her to enter Bollywood.
Rani acted with actor Kunwar Mahendra Singh in many music Videos. Her inspirations are Rajasthani singer Sanwari Bai and Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit. Her performance in the Pushkar Mela remains highly anticipated every year.
