Dr. Barkha Versha, Chairperson, United Nations Global Peace Council graces the event as Chief Guest; Mrs. Sapna Nagpal announced as the Brand Ambassador of Eastern Craft and Culture

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], July 28: Jaipur witnessed a vibrant celebration of fashion, creativity and cultural expression as the SPRING FASHION SHOW Curtain Raiser concluded at Maan Palace on Thursday. Organised by Eastern Craft and Culture, the event brought together emerging fashion designers, aspiring models and creative professionals from across the country, providing them with a prestigious platform to showcase their talent before industry stakeholders, fashion enthusiasts and the media.

The event was graced by Dr. Barkhaa Versha, Chairperson, United Nations Global Peace Council, as the Chief Guest, who appreciated the organisers’ efforts in creating a platform that nurtures young talent and promotes creativity, cultural diversity and innovation in the Indian fashion industry.

Designed as more than a conventional runway presentation, the SPRING FASHION SHOW highlighted fashion as a powerful medium of storytelling, innovation and cultural dialogue. Throughout the event, promising designers unveiled contemporary collections that seamlessly blended India’s rich textile heritage with modern aesthetics, while young models captivated audiences with confident runway presentations and professional performances.

One of the major highlights of the evening was the announcement of Mrs. Sapna Nagpal as the Brand Ambassador of Eastern Craft and Culture. The organisers said her association with the organisation reflects its commitment to promoting creativity, empowering emerging talent and expanding its presence in India’s fashion and lifestyle industry.

The runway featured a diverse range of collections celebrating craftsmanship, originality and contemporary design, reflecting the evolving landscape of Indian fashion. From traditional inspirations reimagined with modern silhouettes to experimental creations showcasing fresh perspectives, the event demonstrated the creative potential of India’s next generation of fashion talent.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Nadeem Khan, Founder & CEO of Eastern Craft and Culture and Main Organiser of the SPRING FASHION SHOW,

“SPRING FASHION SHOW was conceptualised to provide emerging talent with the platform, visibility and recognition they truly deserve. Today, fashion is far more than style—it is a powerful expression of culture, identity, innovation and creativity. Our vision extends beyond organising fashion events; we are building a platform that empowers designers, models and creative professionals by connecting them with industry leaders, renowned brands and meaningful opportunities. Through Eastern Craft and Culture, we are committed to taking Indian talent to the global stage, celebrating our rich artistic heritage and creating world-class opportunities that inspire the next generation of fashion professionals.”

He further added that Eastern Craft and Culture is not merely an event organiser, but a growing platform dedicated to nurturing emerging talent and building meaningful collaborations across the fashion, art and creative industries. The organisation aims to connect India’s next generation of designers and models with national and international opportunities while positioning Indian creativity on the global stage.

Mr. Sagar Kharbanda, Actor, Model and Co-Organiser, said the event successfully reflected the originality, craftsmanship and creative excellence that define India’s growing influence in the global fashion landscape. He noted that initiatives such as the SPRING FASHION SHOW create valuable opportunities for emerging designers and models to connect with fashion professionals, brands and industry leaders while encouraging innovation and artistic expression.

The fashion showcase was organised by Eastern Craft and Culture in association with the United Nations Global Peace Council (UNGPC) and Event Xpo India as the Event Partners, while renowned fashion label Label Garry, led by Mr. Gaurav Gupta, joined the event as the Talent Partner, along with Mr. Mohit Rastogi as the Show Director. The organisers said these collaborations played a key role in enhancing the quality and reach of the event while reinforcing its commitment to nurturing emerging talent and promoting Indian fashion with a global outlook.

Building on the success of the event, the organisers announced that Eastern Craft and Culture will continue to create platforms that connect emerging designers, models and creative professionals with industry leaders while positioning Jaipur as a significant destination on India’s growing fashion calendar and promoting Indian fashion, art and culture on the global stage.
