Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], April 27: In a rapidly modernizing nation where the number of electric vehicles on the roads is steadily rising, the true challenge lies not merely in purchasing a vehicle, but in ensuring the infrastructure required to keep it running. The foremost question in people’s minds remains: how easily accessible will charging facilities be, and will they prove to be reliable in the context of their daily lives? Recognizing this critical need, ElectriVa—the country’s leading EV charge point operator—is working relentlessly to further strengthen its charging network within Indore. This expansion is not a one-off announcement, but rather a continuous process involving the addition of new charging points across various parts of the city.

    • Rapid expansion underway with over 3,500 charging points across the country
    • Over 650 solar-powered charging points and more than 75 battery swapping stations now available in Indore
    • An internet-enabled, automated facility operating entirely without human intervention
    • A step towards a brighter future for the city, utilizing clean energy to reduce pollution

Today, ElectriVa boasts a network in Indore comprising over 650 solar-powered charging points and more than 75 battery swapping stations. This network not only offers enhanced convenience to the city’s users but also instils the confidence that their journey will never be interrupted.

Sharing his thoughts on this expansion within the city, Sumit Dhanuka, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of ElectriVa, stated, “Our objective is not merely to increase the number of charging points, but to provide the city’s residents with a system they can truly rely upon. In a city like Indore, this initiative propels us toward a robust and sustainable future. Given the concerns regarding petrol and diesel prices that have emerged recently—largely due to global circumstances— ElectriVa’s expansion in the city serves as a welcome source of relief for its residents. Our endeavour is to ensure that the adoption of electric vehicles becomes not only easier for people but also emerges as a practical and dependable choice.”

ElectriVa’s system is entirely internet-based and automated. Users can locate nearby charging stations via their mobile phones, make advance bookings at select locations, and conveniently charge their vehicles. This entire process is not only simple and intuitive but also saves time and minimizes uncertainty.

For Indore—a city that has already established a distinct identity for its cleanliness—such a solar-energy-based system provides a new direction. It not only aids in reducing pollution but also encourages people to embrace a responsible alternative. To date, ElectriVa’s network has contributed to reducing over 5,150 tons of carbon emissions nationwide—a significant achievement in this regard. Indore is increasingly being viewed as a model city for electric vehicles, and initiatives such as this further bolster the city’s future prospects.

The company aims to contribute to the installation of over 1.2 million charging points across the country by the year 2030. The ongoing expansion in Indore represents a pivotal step toward achieving this broader objective. In this context, it would not be incorrect to assert that ElectriVa’s endeavour extends far beyond mere technology; it also embodies a vision focused on simplifying urban life, fostering new opportunities, and advancing toward a cleaner environment.

    About ElectriVa:

ElectriVa is a key division of Jivah International Private Limited, dedicated to strengthening electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across India. The company aims to establish a nationwide charging network—one that is fast, accessible, and technologically advanced—powered by clean energy and modern technology. ElectriVa’s charging network is internet-enabled, automated, and operates autonomously without human intervention, incorporating features such as data analytics and smart management capabilities. The company provides charging solutions for 2-wheeler, 3-wheeler, and 4-wheeler electric vehicles, with a particular focus on solar-integrated charging infrastructure. ElectriVa’s goal is to contribute to the installation of over 1.2 million charging points nationwide by 2030, thereby fostering clean and sustainable transportation.
